F-Gas Regulation A new F-gas Regulation applies from 1 January 2015 and it is a game changer for the whole refrigeration industry. It limits the amount of HFCs which can be placed on the market in the EU from 2015 onwards. F-Gas regulation places restrictions on the use of some HFC refrigerants with high GWP. The aim of the process is to reduce the contribution of refrigerant gases to global warming.
